number 609 pained inside my helmet - help with Japanese OOB

I have a japanese helmet with the number 609 painted inside the helmet. The kanji translates to Battery NCO which tells me this helmet was with an artillery unit.

The number 609 is painted inside too so I am wondering if there is a Japanese artillery unit numbered 609.

Can anyone help me find Japanese artillery regimental OOB?
or SNLF?

Many navy helmets have interior dome numbers. No one is certain what they designate therefore research really isnt possible. Could be accountibility number during helmet assembly, serial number of helmet, owners number etc
