I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

When I attended the first show I was amazed. I walked around and saw all this wonder stuff. But wait....something was different...I finally realized....this was a militaria show, there was no jewelry, no beef jerky, no jams and jellies, base ball caps, T-Shirts, hunting boots, pocket knives, etc. When I made my 2nd walk around the show, I discovered not only stuff on the tables, but under the tables and on the floor behind the tables. My only complaint with the show is that some vendors bring 6 tables full of stuff to sell and try to fit it on two tables! This is not good for the vendor next to them. It is at a very nice hotel, and free parking. My son, Trey and I have gone to every show since then. Look for his Japanese flag and the Banzai banner and stop by to visit with us. The show is held twice a year....Fri & Saturday after Thanksgiving, and Friday & Saturday before Easter. |

Nice show, neat stuff, neater people....The next one will be the weekend after Thanksgiving - Friday/Saturday.
Couple of pictures...
I may check in to having a Banzai 'meeting' Friday night after the show if I can get enough interest to help cover the cost of the room.
A couple 'Hens Teeth' to share courtesy Ray Labar, look for an upcoming article in Banzai...Yes, membership has its privileges...
Early Japanese Pistols...
Banzai Tables...

Chip, the next few shows have cash awards for best WWI era related displays, as they are celebrating the MOH winners of WWI from TN. Normally it is just a very nice laser etched wooden plaque. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
